GEMS Girls' Club: Girls Everywhere Meeting the Saviour

GEMS, a relationship building, club program created especially for girls Grades three - eight. At club meetings, girls have the opportunity to participate in a variety of fun and meaningful activities that will enrich and add new dimension to their lives. Games, crafts, singing, learning important life skills through badge work, discussing the Bible and learning how to apply it to life, as well as discovering solutions to many of the challenges facing girls today, are all a part of the club experience. The goal of our club is to bring girls into a living relationship with Jesus Christ.  We meet Wednesdays from 6:45 - 8:15 p.m. This year's theme is “Prayer, No Worries". This theme, taken from Philippians 4:6, tries to teach the girls that we should not worry, but instead should turn each concern, worry, and care into prayer to God who hears and responds to their cries. To learn more about the program visit the GEMS website.

We believe everyone is created in God’s image and is able to relate to him. God’s forgiveness, love, and acceptance is a gift that is not dependent on our level of intelligence or ability. We meet every Thursday afternoon, from 1:30 – 3:00, at ARC Industries and Thursday evening, from 7:30 – 9:00 at First CRC. We gather for worship, prayer, praise, learning, and to enjoy each other's company.  We have 30 or more students and over 12 teachers and helpers. Everybody is welcome to visit or join us and contribute.
