GEMS Girls' Club: Girls Everywhere Meeting the Saviour Begins again in the Fall

GEMS, a relationship building, club program created especially for girls Grades 3 - 8. At club meetings, girls have the opportunity to participate in a variety of fun and meaningful activities that will enrich and add new dimension to their lives. Games, crafts, singing, learning important life skills through badge work, discussing the Bible and learning how to apply it to life, as well as discovering solutions to many of the challenges facing girls today, are all a part of the club experience. The goal of our club is to bring girls into a living relationship with Jesus Christ.  We meet Wednesdays from 6:45 - 8:15 p.m. This year's theme is “Abba, I belong to You” dealing with our identities as being daughters of the King.

Coordinators: Joyce Visscher and Catherine Timmerman

Guelph Friendship Club: A ministry with people who are developmentally challenged.

We believe everyone is created in God’s image and is able to relate to him. God’s forgiveness, love, and acceptance is a gift that is not dependent on our level of intelligence or ability. We meet every Thursday afternoon, from 2:00 – 3:00, at ARC Industries and Thursday evening, from 7:30 – 9:00 at First CRC. We gather for worship, prayer, praise, learning, and to enjoy each other's company.  We have 40 or more students and over 15 teachers and helpers. Everybody is welcome to visit or join us and contribute.
